Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated 29 August 2026. Paying an invoice, placing an order, or sending a brief that we accept as a quote means you agree to these terms.
These terms are between you and Kawanda.NET (“we”, “us”). We supply domain registration, shared hosting, and work that is priced only after a written quote. The site is operated from the Sultanate of Oman. The contract is governed by the laws of Oman. Courts in Oman have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer rule in your country says otherwise.
These terms sit with any quote, invoice, and with the Privacy notice, Design terms, and Managed infrastructure terms. If a signed quote conflicts with this page, the quote wins for that job only.
1. Accounts
You must give a working email address and keep it current. You are responsible for who uses your client area. Tell us through the contact form if you think the account was used without your authority. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that is used to abuse the service, to evade payment, or to break the law.
2. Orders, quotes, and invoices
A catalog item (a domain or shared hosting) becomes a contract when we accept the order and issue an invoice. Quoted work becomes a contract when you accept the quote in writing (including paying the invoice that belongs to it). We may withdraw a quote until you accept it. Invoices are in United States dollars unless the quote says another currency. Amounts, fees, and renewal prices are those shown on the invoice or quote at the time, not any figure that used to appear in marketing copy.
If you do not pay by the due date we may suspend the related service. If an amount stays unpaid we may cancel the service and, for domains, let the name expire or delete it according to the registry’s rules. We are not obliged to restore a cancelled service without a new order.
3. Shared hosting
Shared hosting is billed in advance for the term on the invoice, usually one year. It is meant for websites and electronic mail for you or your organisation. It is not a game server, a bulk mail cannon, a public file locker, or a place to run other people’s high-load applications. We may throttle, suspend, or cancel a service that harms the server, other customers, or the network, including (without limitation) malware, open relays, mining, or repeated resource abuse.
Storage, mailbox counts, and related limits are those stated on the order or in the client area at the time of sale. We may change those limits at renewal if we give notice on the renewal invoice. HTTPS certificates, when included, depend on domain validation; we cannot issue a certificate for a name that does not resolve to our platform.
You keep the content. You grant us a limited licence to copy and serve that content as needed to host it. Backups, if we take them, are for our operations. They are not a substitute for your own copies. We do not warrant that a restore will be complete or available on a particular day.
4. Domains
Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers follow the rules of the registry and of our registrar. A registration is typically for one year unless the order says otherwise. We do not control whether a name is available until the registry accepts it. If a registration fails after you have paid, we will refund that domain charge or apply it to your account, at our choice.
You must provide accurate registrant data. You must not use a domain for unlawful content or to impersonate another person. DNS and nameserver options available in the client area may change when the registry or registrar requires it. When a domain expires, registry grace and redemption periods apply; fees for restoration are those the registry and registrar charge us, plus our handling, as shown if we offer restoration.
5. Payments
We accept the methods shown at checkout. Card and bank payments, when offered, are processed by the named provider (for example PayPal). Cryptocurrency payments, when offered, are in Kaspa (KAS) to the address on the invoice. A KAS amount is locked for a limited time stated on the invoice. You must send the exact amount in one transaction. Underpayment, late payment after the lock expires, or sending to the wrong address may mean the invoice stays unpaid. We never ask for a wallet seed or private key. We do not hold customer coins as a custodian.
Chargebacks and payment disputes must be raised with us first through the contact form. If a payment is reversed after we have delivered a domain year or a hosting term, you still owe that amount.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use our services to break the law of Oman or of any place where you operate, to send unsolicited bulk mail, to host child sexual abuse material, to attack other systems, or to infringe intellectual property after a valid notice. We may remove content or suspend a service without prior notice where we reasonably believe this clause is broken or where we are required to act by a registry, a payment provider, or a competent authority.
7. Quoted work
Design, shops, complete launches, and managed machines are not sold from a fixed catalog. Scope, timetable, and price are only those on the accepted quote. See the Design terms and Managed infrastructure terms.
8. Liability
The service is provided as described. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent Oman law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect loss. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence where that rule applies.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Material changes apply from the next renewal or from the next accepted quote, unless the law requires an earlier date. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
10. Notices
Formal notices to us go through the contact form or to the email we last used on an invoice. Notices to you go to the email on the account. We do not offer a public telephone channel.
