Design terms

Design terms

Last updated 29 August 2026. These terms apply to quoted website, shop, and complete-launch work. They add to the Terms of Service.

1. Scope

The accepted quote is the statement of work. It lists what we will deliver: pages or templates, languages, integrations named on the quote, and the number of revision rounds. Anything not written there is out of scope until a further quote is accepted. Labels such as “starter” or “business” on a request form are for routing only. They are not a price list.

2. Client duties

You supply copy, logos, product data, and access (for example DNS or CMS logins) in time for the dates on the quote. You confirm that you have the right to give us that material. Delay on your side moves the calendar by at least the same number of working days. If we cannot obtain what we need after a written reminder, we may pause the job or treat it as cancelled under clause 5.

3. Revisions and acceptance

A revision round is one consolidated set of written comments on a presented draft. Unused rounds expire when you accept launch, or thirty days after we present the last draft if you do not reply, whichever is first. Extra rounds are a new quote. Launch means we have put the work on the agreed environment and told you it is ready. After launch, defects that break the agreed scope will be corrected; new ideas are a new quote.

4. Fees and payment

Fees are only those on the accepted quote and its invoices. We may ask for a deposit before kickoff. Remaining sums are due as the quote says (for example on presentation of a draft, or on launch). Hosting, domains, licences, and third-party fees are separate unless the quote names them as included.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel in writing. If kickoff has occurred, thirty percent of the accepted quote fee is due as a cancellation charge, plus work already invoiced. If we cancel because you have not met clause 2, the same cancellation charge applies. We may cancel for our convenience before kickoff without a charge.

6. Intellectual property

Until invoices for the job are paid, we own the work product. On full payment, we assign to you the custom design and content we created for the quote, excluding our tools, prior libraries, and third-party items. Stock photographs we licence for the job are assigned or sublicensed to you at launch to the extent the stock vendor allows. Plugins, fonts, maps, and other SaaS remain under their own licences and are not included unless named on the quote. Source files (including Arabic and English text files where both languages were in scope) are available on request after payment.

7. Third parties

We may recommend a platform or a payment provider. Those contracts are yours with that vendor. We are not their agent.

8. Notices
