Managed infrastructure terms
Managed infrastructure terms
Last updated 29 August 2026. These terms apply when we quote and manage a dedicated or virtual machine for you. They add to the Terms of Service.
1. Two contracts on the metal
The computer is rented from a datacenter or server vendor. Kawanda.NET does not manufacture that hardware and does not sell named vendor SKUs on this website. We manage the machine under the accepted quote. Two service levels apply: (a) the vendor’s terms for power, network, and hardware replacement, and (b) our management terms below. A failure of power or the vendor network is not a failure of our management duty unless we caused it.
2. What we do
The quote states the scope: watch only, operate, or scale. “Watch” means we monitor agreed checks and respond. “Operate” means we perform agreed system work. “Scale” means we plan capacity with you. We do not hold, mix, or custody cryptocurrency, and we do not offer mining as a service or a public wallet on machines we manage.
3. Management response (Kawanda.NET)
Unless the quote states other times, we aim to:
- Watch alerts: next business day, Sunday through Thursday, Oman time.
- Operate or Scale incidents: priority 1 within four hours, priority 2 within eight hours, priority 3 within one business day, Oman time.
These are targets, not a guarantee of restore time. Scheduled work is notified in advance where practical. Unless the quote says otherwise, a routine window is Friday 20:00–23:00 Oman time. Emergency work may run outside that window.
4. Hardware and network (vendor)
Availability, replacement of failed parts, and the datacenter network are the vendor’s. We will raise and follow tickets with the vendor on your behalf when the quote includes that. Credits, if any, are those the vendor grants. We pass them through if we receive them; we do not add a separate hardware credit of our own.
5. Your duties
You must not use the machine for the uses in clause 2 that we refuse, or for the acceptable-use rules in the Terms of Service. You keep application-level backups unless the quote says we take them. You pay the vendor or us, as the quote structures it, on time. If the vendor suspends the machine for non-payment or abuse, our management duty pauses until service is restored.
6. Fees
Management fees are only those on the accepted quote and invoices. Hardware rental may be billed by the vendor directly or collected by us as agent; the quote says which. We may change management fees at the end of a paid term with notice on the renewal invoice.
7. Term and exit
The term is on the quote. Either party may end the management agreement at the end of a paid term with thirty days’ written notice, or earlier for material breach that is not cured within fourteen days of notice. On exit we will, if you have paid, hand over documentation and credentials we hold for the machine. We are not obliged to keep a copy after thirty days unless the law requires it.
8. Notices
